How long does a custom mouthguard last?

We check the fit at your regular appointments and will let you know when a replacement is needed — often before you notice any difference yourself.
Can children get custom mouthguards?
Yes — and for young athletes, a well-fitted mouthguard is especially important. Children's teeth and jaws are still developing, making dental injuries both more likely and more impactful. Is a mouthguard covered by my health fund?

What sports are mouthguards recommended for?

How do I care for my mouthguard?
Rinse with cool water after each use and clean gently with a soft toothbrush. Store it in the ventilated case we provide — away from direct sunlight and heat, which can warp the shape. Avoid hot water and harsh chemicals. Bring it to your regular dental appointments so we can check the fit and condition.
