General Dentistry

Good oral health is the foundation of your overall wellbeing. At Yass Valley Dental, our general dentistry services are designed to keep your teeth and gums healthy at every stage of life — from your child's first visit to ongoing care for the whole family. With two convenient locations in Yass and Murrumbateman, and a team of experienced dentists, hygienists, and oral health therapists all under one roof, we make it easy to stay on top of your dental health close to home.

Routine Check-ups & Cleans

Regular dental examinations and professional cleans are the cornerstoone of good oral health. We check for early signs of decay, gum disease, and oral cancer, and remove the plaque and tartar that home brushing can't reach. Most patients benefit from a check-up every six months.

Gum Treatment

From mild gingivitis to advanced periodontal disease, our hygienists and dentists provide comprehensive gum assessment and treatment. Healthy gums are essential for keeping your teeth — and research shows that gum health is closely linked to your overall health.

Tooth-Coloured Fillings

We use composite resin fillings matched to the natural colour of your teeth — durable, mercury-free, and virtually invisible. We have a particular interest in biomimetic restorations, designed to closely mimic the properties of natural tooth structure.

Root Canal Treatment

When infection reaches the pulp of a tooth, root canal treatment saves the tooth and relieves pain. Our experienced team performs this procedure with precision and care, using local anaesthesia for your comfort — and most patients are surprised by how straightforward it is.

Mouthguards

Custom-fitted mouthguards for sport and teeth grinding, shaped precisely to your bite. Far more comfortable and protective than store-bought alternatives, and available in a range of colours for your team or personal preference.

Dental Emergencies

We reserve same-day slots for dental emergencies at both locations. Whether it's a toothache, broken tooth, or knocked-out tooth, call us as early as possible and we'll do our best to see you the same day.

Children's Dentistry

Our team creates a calm, gentle environment to help children build positive associations with dental care from the start. We bulk bill eligible children under the Medicare Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS).

Tooth Extractions

When a tooth can't be saved, we perform gentle, minimally invasive extractions — including complex surgical extractions and wisdom teeth removal. We'll always discuss your options, including tooth replacement, before proceeding.

Occlusal Splint Therapy

From mild gingivitis to advanced periodontal disease, our hygienists and dentists provide comprehensive gum assessment and treatment. Healthy gums are essential for keeping your teeth — and research shows that gum health is closely linked to your overall health.
Tell us about yourself and your dental concerns, and we'll be in touch shortly.
